I have installed Kodi on my mac, but it refuses to play any file from MBS. I have made this log (attached). It works fine in Safari or when accessing the network share.

Funny thing is I have the same problem in MBT, where it works with a external player but not the internal.

Server is Version 3.0.5490.2 and Kodi is from yesterday,

Is your server really called 'SERVER'?  This is the path it is trying to play:

smb://SERVER/Movies 1/3.10 To Yuma (2007)(720)/310toyuma.mkv

Is that valid?

If so, you may need to add your SMB Username/Password in the settings.

FU ;-) Yes, it is a WHS11 box :-)

It plays nicely in VLC via MacOS/Finder, so access should not be a problem. Or are you talking about in Kodi?

He means in Kodi, under the Network tab in the Mediabrowser add-on settings, there's a place to enter SMB username and password. :)
