Media Center is not allowing us to play anything.  I've seen this happen on rare occasions and have never seen a definitive answer to the problem.  I would try re-booting the machine, and then re-installing Media Center.

I rebooted MBC several times did not resolved the issue

uninstall/re-installed did not resolved the issue,

but  I noticed that all settings were the same after reinstalled,

it seems some files were left undeleted after unistalled,

how do I perform clean installation or

is there a function or way to restore configuration to default settings.

Thanks

Not MBC - WMC.  This isn't really an MBC issue.  Something has gone wrong with WMC.

First re-boot the whole machine.  If that doesn't do anything try re installing WMC by using the Turn Windows Features On or Off in Programs and Features.

Great! I will check this out when I get home and keep you posted

On a seperate note, FEW QUESTIONS

*How to change the MBC look "Chocolate Skin" to stop pop-up posters for "Unwatched & Play" but add as submenu, I can easily configure this in MB3/Kodi Titan Skin.

*How to determine if MBC video play is CPU or GPU base and possible make a switch to either as one see fit

*lastly is it possible to incorporate LAV Filters with MBC for audio & video encoding

*apology I have digress from initial issue, I came from Kodi client/MB3 Server world, but seeing the potential of MBC I fell in love, hnece I would like to make it my dream client like if possible

Hope my questions is not over burden :)

Cheers

I think I'm going to need a picture to understand what you mean by "popup posters".

Video playback is handled by the player - either WMC or an external one if you configure that.  We do recommend using LAV as your splitter/codecs.

Chocolate skin

How to disable the unwatch popup and add to submenu as in the Xneon

and reduced the speed of backdrop random rotations as its is fast.

Xneon skin

This sort of fit my expectation no "Unwatched,Played" on main but as submenu to the main, except unwanted RRS feed and lack of back drop rotation (Blank)

Solution how to kill RSS feeds and make backdrop appears with rotations (sorry I am repeating my self differently)

[attachment=5750:Untitled2.png]

So please help me make this happen

Thanks

You cannot turn off the recent list in Chocolate.  You can disable the EHS entirely though and use any other view.

For the other theme questions, look in the options for that theme or ask in its questions thread.

There is some good information at this link for setting up WMC to use LAV filters:

http://www.thehtpc.n...rnal-subtitles/

Sometimes there are problems reaching that server, so I have to use this link instead:

http://web.archive.o...rnal-subtitles/
