asiajason 0 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Hi, I installed Version 3.0.5482.4 on Mac OS X 10.10. I can watch movies on that mac no problem (localhost:8096). Video/Sound is fine. But on other macs in the house, if I browser to <IP>:8096 I get "Bad request - invalid host". I can reach other servers on that host, such as XBMC at <IP>:8083. On other devices (iOS), it automatically recognizes the server, and plays video but no sound. Please let me know what you need from me. Also - where is the physical location of the log files? Not the interface view, but the files themselves... Thanks
Beardyname 197 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 just to be sure, you did ip:port/mediabrowser right? the trailing /mediabrowser is important to add (for now at least) and i get the same error response if i fail to add /mediabrowser when i try

No I didn't - it wasn't apparent (to me) I must have missed this somewhere. This worked in the browser on another Mac. However, on the iphone, I can't get it to play in the browser. In the iOS client, it will play, but no sound. Ideas? Edited January 17, 2015 by asiajason

I really don't have a clue what kind of browser Ios clients are running so can't help you with that :/ regarding the ios client i would recommend posting in that specific sub-forum where there might be more apple users who can help you out
asiajason 0 Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 I really don't have a clue what kind of browser Ios clients are running so can't help you with that :/ It's Chrome or Safari for most people. Neither works...
