Hello!

I'm migrating from Plex as they are splitting the music and photos libraries from the main app.

Plex can play mi FLAC HiRes 5.1 music up to 96KHz/24bits, but Emby plays the same file at 48KHz. I tried with native and MPV players.

Are you aware of this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Hello!

Attached is one HiRes multichannel file as an example and the server's logs. I don't know how to get the logs in the AppleTV app...

Here is my AV receiver info while playing it on Plex:

And here you have it while playing with Emby:

The server seems to direct stream it:

And the server recognizes it as 96KHz/24 bits:

My AppleTV audio settings are this:

Let me know if you need more information.

Thanks in advance,
Ugo

In this case, the strange thing is Plex, since Apple TV only supports audio up to 48 kHz. I wonder what Plex has to do to get around this limitation.
