Cannot add new library, Content-type field just flashes

I'm having the same issue. Fresh install on Synology DS290+ NAS, latest DSM.

Have given the emby user r/w permission on the Media folder. I can at least select that (and sub folders) on the modal window. No other peripherals attached.

Work in web development, have tried using Chrome, Firefox, Edge (which is essentially Chrome now) and Incognito windows in all. No joy. Cannot get it to allow me to update the dropdown field (Content Type) or Display Name. Makes no sense, issue appears to be JS related.

In the console log, the dialoghelper.js is going nuts:

Wondering if it might still be permissions based, when I try and save the Advanced metadata options, I get the following issue:

Resolved the latter by manually adding the metadata folder and making it's owner emby, and chmod 755. Still hasn't resolved the issue with creating libraries.

@tadywanknenobiwhat exactly happens when trying to setup the library?
