Emby Connect not working

Latest MacOS on M4

Emby Version 4.9.0.42 beta

Emby Lifetime Premiere customer

ATT Uverse 1gb connection with Gateway Router BGW320. Set Allocation to passthrough to Eeros 6 wifi mesh router. I assume I'm running a double nat. Passthrough is set to manual.

My m4 address is 192.168.7.231. I haven't set it to static IP yet. It won't access the internet if I start changing the eeros settings and port forwarding. Local host works fine on wifi and any device running emby or network drive can connect.

M4 is always running Windscribe VPN (currently connected to MidWest). I have not messed with port forwarding on the app.

Eero gateway is 192.168.7.1

BGW320 external ip is 75.15.164.178, my gateway is 75.15.164.1

ATT modem-->ATT router (BGW320)-->eeros router-->eeros mesh repeater-->m4 mini on VPN

Can anyone walk me through troubleshooting? I need to keep the VPN going because it has all my apps running 24/7 like radarr, sonarr and prowlarr.

When I try to use the emby connect it just goes into loops of me logging in and selecting my server and going back to the login page. No error or nothing.

Hi, did you first setup Emby Connect on your server?

Emby Connect

Once you've done that then please try again. If there's still an issue, then are you able to connect by doing a manual server connection without Emby Connect?

Thanks Luke. I gave up. The VPN on the mac mini was really throwing me. I'm going to install this on a windows server not behind VPN and use the mac mini that is behind the VPN to run qbit/prowlarr/radarr/sonarr as a network drive/shared location. I'll circle back if I still need help.
