Emby says folder with strm is empty

I have a folder with strm files and Emby doesn't recognize strm files. The folder system is like this:

Movies (folder)

   - Name of the file (folder)

      - Name of the file.strm

 

Emby on my Mac doesn't recognize strm and says the folder is empty. I thought Emby recognized strm files.

Hi, yes Emby does recognize strm files. Square exactly do you mean by not recognizing?

When I check library files, instead of showing the green circle scanning, nothing happens and the library is empty inside.

How many Emby libraries have you created, and what folder paths are added to each one? Did you try clicking "scan all libraries" ?

Did you check what libraries your emby user is granted access to?
