techbri 10 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I am using an IPTV provider with Emby. It's stable most of the time on my LAN but sometimes the stream will end and it will go back to the previous screen and I can hit play again. Occasionally when home or sometimes when I am remote using my phone or iPad, the stream will buffer. As the stream is coming from the internet, I wonder if I can set a buffer that will hold more of the stream to make it more stable?

You mean you start watching from the grid (one possibility), it plays, stops, drops you back to the grid where you can restart it? Do you get the issue playing from the Programs tab or Channels tab in LiveTV? 1 hour ago, techbri said: Occasionally ... the stream will buffer. As the stream is coming from the internet This could be between the Emby server and the IPTV provider. Caused by data not moving fast enough on the server. As well as it could be between the Emby Server and the client. When this happens remotely is it from work or a friends WIFI? Or is it happening on a cellular network? Run a test at speedtest.net and tell us both your download and upload speed. Play a typical channel from a client and grab a screen shot of it playing on the dashboard like this.
