Hi gang!

I'm often having to refresh/replace images and it would be amazing to get a "shortcut"  button like the "played" and "fave" ones.

Clicking it would just initiate a force refresh of the images in that series / object, rather than right-click, scroll down, replace metadata, check replace images.

@GrimReaperThis can't be FR, more a support call

Hm, I reckon it's actually both.

I should say that even when this is globally applied to the library, it often misses hundreds that the manual, per object request completes successfully.

Will split topics.

Yeah I really wasn't asking for support on the scanning, more a feature to enable faster access to "Replace All Images" per series.

Not sure I follow as it is easy, either manually select the images you want or run the task against the Series but if your server is busy you will/could see issues.

It's easy, except the option to replace images is buried in the "Replace All Metadata" menu. So, instead of a one-click on a small icon to replace all images, I have to right click, choose replace all metadata, then check off Replace All images then click ok. I recognize that on a one off it's negligible but on a larger scale it's a massive time saver.

And why not multi-select the movies on "a larger scale" and do your steps one time for all of them?

I'm scrolling through the list and manually doing each series. If I multi-select series, can I see there which are missing the cover art?

Ahh, I see how that works now... yes that is significantly faster.

In my opinion, there is already so much icon nitty gritty on the posters plus there are 2 options in detail screen to change posters (near the logoart + the detail screen menu).
Dunno, a third option would be a bit overkill, specially since having the multi select option. Just my 2c. But that doesn't count. 🤣

Of course it counts - besides I learned something new today, so danke. I still think it would be helpful to have a one-click "replace all metadata and images" on the poster hover (you don't see it unless you hover anyway) but that's MY two cents ;)
