forced subtitles and external subtitles

I did some digging and it sounds like this is possible, i just cant get it working.

I have some MKV files that have a built in subtitle track. This track is the forced subtitle track and will display subtitles for foreign languages (and only foreign languages). I would like this track to always play, regardless of subtitle settings.

I also have some external subtitles (.srt files) that dont have the foreign languages. I would like to be able to have both on at the same time. Using VLC I'm only able to choose 1 or the other, same with emby. I've played about with some settings with the forced internal subtitles with MKVToolNix but cant get anything to work.

Hi, there isn't an explicit option for this, but setting your user preferences to the subtitle mode of default will probably give this the best chance of happening.
