Luke 40121 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 @imebro Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
imebro 1 Posted February 12 Author Posted February 12 Hello and thanks for the information. I have now uploaded the LOG file from today as well as the file “embyserver.txt”. The problem still persists, although I have just updated my router (FritzBox 7490) and re-indexed all music tracks on the external hard disk. I also gave the Emby website additional permissions in the Firefox browser yesterday. Namely “Allow automatic playback - audio and video”. So it should actually work. But a test carried out several times today from about 6 pm unfortunately did not work. Only one track was played at a time and then playback stopped. When I use the Emby mobile app, however, I don't have this problem. The entire album is played via the app. Thank you and best regards, imebro hardware_detection-63874977120.txt embyserver.txt
Luke 40121 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 HI, are you able to try Chrome and see how that compares?
imebro 1 Posted February 13 Author Posted February 13 Hello and thanks for the tip. I will test it tonight with Chrome or alternatively with Edge. As already written, it works without any problems via the phone app to play several tracks in succession. Best regards, imebro
imebro 1 Posted February 13 Author Posted February 13 Hello, I have just tried using the Edge browser as I don't use Chrome. But it worked and it played several tracks in a row. Unfortunately, it does not work with the Firefox browser, although I have set the necessary permissions there for automatic playback (allow audio and video). Do you have any ideas as to what the problem might be? Best regards, imebro
Luke 40121 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Hi, I just tested in firefox and it worked just fine. Can you provide a sample album for testing? Thanks.
imebro 1 Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 I have uploaded 4 music files and am curious to see if it works. In the meantime, I assume that the problem may be caused by an add-in or extension that I use in Firefox. Greetings, imebro 1 - Hells Bells - AC_DC.mp3 2 - Back in Black - AC_DC.mp3 3 - Shoot to thrill - AC_DC.mp3 4 - Have a drink on me - AC_DC.mp3
imebro 1 Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 Hello Luke, I just started the Firefox browser in troubleshooting mode and then played some music. And - lo and behold - it now also works in Firefox. As I had already suspected, it could be that it is due to some extension that I have activated in FF or an add-in, etc. I now have to find out exactly what the problem is. Emby is now definitely out of the question as the culprit Greetings, imebro
imebro 1 Posted February 27 Author Posted February 27 Hallo Luke, today i want try to start the EMBY-App with my phone again. Strangely enough, I can no longer select my amplifier (see screenshot). Previously, I could also start my music via the Emby mobile app, for example. Now I first have to establish a Bluetooth connection on the PC, then connect the amplifier and then select the amplifier for the output... Only then does it work. And then I have to select “Firefox Windows - Emby App”. Previously it said “Evo 150”. This no longer appears. Has this perhaps changed due to a recent update? Greetings, imebro

imebro 1 Posted February 28 Author Posted February 28 Hello Luke, yes, my amplifier is running and connected to the network. I have nothing changed in EMBY (Browser and Phone-App), but EMBY yesterday don´t find the amplifier. But now i have try it again and now i can see the amplifier "Evo 150" as "Emby Server DLNA". I can not understand, because yesterday i have start my music about the path with the "windows explorer". Greetings imebro
Luke 40121 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Sometimes it may help to restart the amplifier while Emby Server is running. It's possible that the amplifier only sends out broadcasts over the network when it starts.
imebro 1 Posted April 1 Author Posted April 1 Hello Luke, I have been using EMBY for a while now and am happy with it. But since Sunday, playing tracks via the smartphone no longer works. I have attached 2 screenshots. On the 1st screenshot you can see that I have selected the correct server via the smartphone app “Ingo Emby Server DLNA”. On the 2nd screenshot you can see the error message that appears as soon as I start a track. I had this error at the beginning, but I don't know how I solved the problem back then. For your information: My laptop is switched on during this and I also use EMBY on the laptop via the browser (Firefox). When I start a title there, I get the same error message. Do you have any idea how I can solve this problem? Thank you and best regards, imebro

imebro 1 Posted April 1 Author Posted April 1 Hello Luke, i have attached the Emby Server Log. I hope it helps for find the problem. Greetings from imebro embyserver.txt
imebro 1 Posted April 2 Author Posted April 2 Hello Luke, you can find the problem at my Server-Log? Maybe i can send you more informations, if you want... Greetings from imebro
imebro 1 Posted April 2 Author Posted April 2 Hello Luke, I have now reconnected the external hard disk directly to the streaming amplifier (Evo 150) as a test. Access via the original Cambridge Audio app works very well. But I can't connect to the music on the external hard disk via Emby. I have already tried to specify the IP address for access. But Emby cannot find the Evo 150 or the external hard disk on the Evo 150. Greetings from imebro
Luke 40121 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Quote But I can't connect to the music on the external hard disk via Emby. I have already tried to specify the IP address for access. But Emby cannot find the Evo 150 or the external hard disk on the Evo 150. Hi, where exactly are you trying to do this?
imebro 1 Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 Hello Luke, the external hard disk is now connected directly to the Evo 150 amplifier. And this Evo 150 is connected to the router via LAN cable. My laptop is also connected directly to the router via LAN cable. I therefore thought that it would be possible to access the hard disk connected to the Evo 150 from the laptop via EMBY. But after I had entered the IP address of the Evo 150 in EMBY, no connection could be established. However, I have a connection to the settings of the Evo 150 amplifier via the browser using the same IP address. ----------- I would also be interested to know whether you were able to find a solution to the previous problem in the LOG file that I sent... i.e. when the external hard disk was connected directly to the router. Thanks for your help... Best regards, imebro
visproduction 284 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Possibly related? I didn't read all the posts, but Firewall issues can cause similar type of blocks. https://www.wikihow.com/Check-if-Your-Firewall-Is-Blocking-Something
imebro 1 Posted April 5 Author Posted April 5 (edited) Thanks, but my amplifier (Evo 150) i can see in the browser about his internet-Adress. You can see it at the Screenshot. But with the same IP-Adress i can not find him with EMBY. Maybe i make a mistake. Can you tell me, what i must do for have a connection with EMBY, when my amplifier ist connected with my router in the same network? Greetings, imebro Edited April 5 by imebro

Have you customized any emby server network settings?
imebro 1 Posted April 6 Author Posted April 6 (edited) Hello Luke, thanks for you answer again. I have posted 2 screenshots here. One shows the settings in the EMBY dashboard and the other shows the IP address of the Evo150 amplifier displayed in the browser. And now i have restart the EMBY-Server. Greetings, imebro Edited April 6 by imebro
