Jibest 27 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Hi, I've noticed that on my Android devices (Samsung Phone & Fire Tablet) I get no audio when streaming live TV channels from my HDHomerun. This happens if I upgrade the app to version 3.4.36. If I downgrade to version 3.4.20 I get working audio again. Update again to 3.4.36 and back to no audio. The Stats for nerds shows the same information on both versions of the app so it doesn't appear that it's treating the steam differently. Have others reported this? I'll get a server log uploaded once I get chance.
Yazbash 0 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I also have the same issue. I can get sound when using an external player, but the Emby app doesn't have audio for live tv from HDHomerun.
Jibest 27 Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 As promised here are the server logs. From 11:48am the first stream was on app version 3.4.36 and there was no sound. The stream after that was using app version 3.4.20 and sound played fine. If you need anything else let me know.embyserver.txt

Audio plays fine when using the older app but there is no sound on recordings when using the new one. If I lower the quality to force a transcode you then get audio. Just to clarify this is only happening in the mobile app. The TV apps are all fine. I've tested this on 2 Samsung phones & a Fire tablet so far and all have the same behaviour.

iamfishcake 0 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Realised I've just made a new thread about the same issue, no audio on HDHomeRun streams using AAC_LATM on my Shield Pro. Pretty sure it used to work, and it does still work if using the Android TV app.

Monkey1971 0 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Just to say , I'm also getting this but only on HDhomerun and only the HD streams. SD and IPTV streams of the same channels are fine. Also the Web client is unaffected.
