barnopss 6 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Hi, this only recently began occurring. Maybe the past 2 weeks. All clients via LAN or WAN; Android / iOS / Browser / ShieldTV all playback without issues. Except for a single FireTVStick.... Playback of any video media to this device results in the "No compatible streams...." error. I have tried direct streaming, transcoding....still always the same error. Adding related logs from my last test. embyserver-63873705600 (1).txt
ebr 15501 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Can you please reproduce that issue and then follow the instructions to send a log from the app? Also please include any ffmpeg logs produced.
barnopss 6 Posted February 3 Author Posted February 3 Missed this reply, I will grab the logs tonight. 1
barnopss 6 Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 Ok, updates. I found this only occurs on my standard (non admin) user accounts...on this one FireTV All users are able to play back on any other device, local or remotely. Server logs are attached. Client logs failed to export. Errored: "400 Bad Request. The parameter client_ID is required" So...I can't get the logs off the Amazon Fire. embyserver (2).txt
barnopss 6 Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 I lied! Even the admin account fails. It played back an item or two, then started exhibiting the same problem.
ebr 15501 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Okay, you are using the standard app so its logs are different but it sure looks like there was successful playback for a while in that log and then it just is stopped by the app. There should have been ffmpeg logs as well. Can we please see those?
barnopss 6 Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 This is the ffmpeg logs for the successful playbackffmpeg-transcode-96e07aad-415f-4fab-9cad-04c021c4920a_1.txt the subsequent playback attempts that resulted in no streams error did not generate an ffmpeg log. I believe those failures begin around line 444155 in the emby log from last night. "2025-02-04 20:14:11.099"
ebr 15501 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 You will need to obtain the app logs to find out why i think. @Lukeshould be able to help with that.
Solution barnopss 6 Posted February 10 Author Solution Posted February 10 We can close this out. I bought a shieldtv, I've hated this Amazon thing for a while. Thank you! 1
