Hi Carlo,

Yes I installed Emby server directly on the NAS using Package Manager.

I'm still unable to access Emby on any device so any assistance would really help - I've had to go back to plugging my laptop via HDMI for the past month.

Well what exactly have you done so far?

I don't know how to resume using Emby (when I go on it just doesn't log on) so I tried setting it up from scratch. As a result I now have multiple entries on my TV showing Emby (please see photo) but none of them work. 2 of them say I need to wake it (but that doesn't work either) and the 3rd requires a password which I don't know. I cannot access Emby on any other device.

If you look in Package Center do it show the open button?
Can you open Emby this way?

That should open the webpage without having to fill in the IP or port. You'll just have to fill in your username and password.

When I click it, it asks me to set it up as new. This is what caused me to now have 3 different Embys on my TV, but none of which I can access.

I'm trying to set up yet another Emby account on my Synology - 4th times the charm.

I managed to get it to partly work (I'll make another post about it once this matter is fixed first, but I can only access sub folders in 1 volume) , however the bigger issue is I can't seem to access Emby Premiere (I don't see that option in the main menu). I of course did pay for it as I was using it before this occurred, so have no plans to pay for a second lifetime access account.

Can anyone help resolve it?

Actually I realized where to find it so that's partly sorted. The next things I need to fix are:

1) How do I get rid of the other 3 Emby accounts so I only have this new one?

2) When setting up libraries I can access volume 2 / MyEmbyMedia2 / Movies (or Photos or TV) however on volume 1 I cant click on MyEmbyMedia1 even though that is set up the exact same way (with sub folders too). How do I fix it?

3) I can access this new Emby account on a smart TV (Sony in my case) but only if I enter manually which is not pleasant to do each time. Is there a way to save it?

Hi, what exactly do you mean by Emby account?

What exactly happens when you try?

@hollermeDid you resolve these issues yourself or do you still have an issue?

Hi guys, Sorry I had to travel abroad for an emergency where I ended up catching a terrible fever. Since Emby doesn't seem to let me do anything with volume 1 / MyEmbyMedia2 / Movies (or photos or TV) (it detects it but doesn't let me select it) I have resorted to doing everything on volume 2, so just have to be very selective in what I add there and delete the file. It's not ideal but it seems to be the only way I can use Emby.

I also can't use Emby abroad (when I open the app on my phone I can't access my server) so it looks like I can only use it at home where the Synology is.

Hi, why not? Have you not setup remote access?
