I have been using emby and kodi for a while but recently moved everything over to new hardware. Ever since doing that my Movie library is not showing up. I have other libraries like photos, videos, and TV that do show up an work. Here are the kodi and emby logs. I am able to see and play the movies via the emby server web interface. When I remove the movie library and readd it shows all the movies so it is seeing them. But when I go to the Movies tab it is empty. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi there, how many Emby libraries have you created, and what folder paths are added to each one?

OK. Did you run a sync with Emby for Kodi?

Not sure what you mean by a sync, but here is what I have tried
Factory Reset
Removing the movies library and readd it
perform local database reset
Uninstall the emby for kodi plugin and reinstall

You are running a way too old emby-for kodi-next-gen version. 8.X

This version is no longer supported and even not compatible with Emby server 4.8.X or Kodi 21.

Please install emby-for kodi-next-gen 11.X via beta repository from here:

http://kodi.emby.tv/

Reason why beta: Current stable version (10.X) will be replaced by current beta (11.X) in the next 10 days. 10.X -> 11.X requires a complete resync. If you install 11.X, you can spare that.

Also there is no upgrade path from 8.X to 11.X cause you skipped 9.X and 10.X.

Therefore uninstall 8.X completly before you install 11.X

btw. even your stable repo is too old -> repository.emby.kodi v1.0.6

1.0.8 is the latest, this might be the reason why emby-for kodi-next-gen never updated to 9.X or 10.X

You should think about enabling auto updates (in Kodi) for the repos too.

Thanks this fixed it. I already had emby-for kodi-next-gen set to auto update. I set the repo to auto update and once it did it also updated emby-for kodi-next-gen. After a database reset everything is working. I didn't know I needed both the addon and the repo to auto update. Thanks again.

I have had a major problem with emby for kodi which I love since last night it is not syncing movies on Kodi 22 but has been fine for a long time so after trying every possible solution I tried Kodi 21 which works fine so obviously a kodi 22 issue (same issue on official & Mavens) I have been using 22 for a couple of Months as I prefer the new gui even my Formuler z11 had the same problem as my TCL TV
