Kcircuit 0 Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 I'm attempting to sort channels on my Live TV list, when I drag and drop a channel another random channel will jump to a different position and muck up the order I've just set. Whats going on here? I've tried both Chrome and Edge and it doesn't appear to be a browser issue, its fairly frustrating.
sa2000 264 Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 (edited) I tried moving channels up and down and re-order and that worked for me - in Settings / Live TV / Channels screen Using both methods of selecting a row and moving it up or down or using the "..." button on the right to move one position up or down After making the changes, you would need to refresh the guide for all the views to get corrected - Home / Live TV / Guide and Home / Live TV / Channels Edited December 4, 2024 by sa2000
Chillout 99 Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 I dont think the channel is really "locked" into place until you move it at least once so its position is set in the database... When i first imported my m3u file I had to move all the channels around before they would stick in the correct order.
Carlo 4486 Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Hi, I'm pretty sure you'll find the info is saved right away after making the change. You may not see it applied right away on a particular page unless you refresh or exit/return to the page. Carlo
RobDenny 8 Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 I had this issue, Firefox seemed to work better for me, also try and reset the zoom level 1

This might be it, next time my m3u updates I'll attempt to move one channel and then refresh the page to see if they lock in. Of course when i tried to record my screen to show the issue it didnt happen Otherwise i might have to try Firefox like RobDenny suggests.
Chillout 99 Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 whats especially annoying for someone with OCD is when the channel list and tv guide do not match... lol

Chillout 99 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 yes, after a refresh the guide matched the channel list. Thanks for the tip for me to have some patience. 1

Keep in mind the guide has a user based sorting setting as well which can affect the lineup, especially if you favorite channels ad choose an option to list the favorites first. Carlo
