Emby Update on Synology DS218Play

Hi, Emby server said that I'm on version 4.8.8.0 and told me to upgrade to 4.8.10.0

I downloaded the ArmV8 series in the usual way and attempted the Manual Install but I got an error asking for an older version of DS which is unusual?

I'm confused if I should downgrade DS to upgrade Emby or wait until the Emby package catches up to the new DS version?

Hi, yea that's strange. We see this get reported every once in a while. You may just want to wait for it to come through package center.

@MosswayHi,

It looks like you choose the wrong version to install.  You want to download from the Synology 7.2+ 

Give that a try and let us know if that solves your issue.

There is some delay due to Synology's long review process. So for example, if we release a 4.8.6 release but we know we'll probably be doing a 4.8.7, then we'll probably just wait for 4.8.7.

Looks like Synology package center is still at 4.8.8, so I cannot update to 4.8.10 via that route. 

Anything I can do to update the server myself?

I downloaded the .spk from the Emby server and installed that. That worked...
