Zedicus 2 Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 why does a random song play if i click on a song in this area of Emby? if i click into a cd, or am in any other section, the song i click on plays. if i click on a song in this section of ANY band, a random song plays.
user24 234 Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 Hi, I hardly ever use this playback selection mode, but out of curiosity wanted to see if I could replicate it... Yes, I think you are correct from what I can best determine. It appears to be a selection/playback fault. What I found is that sometimes the first few Songs selected will play correctly but then the incorrect random playback will start occurring. I briefly tried altering the underlying "Sort By" for Songs to different orders (e.g. Title, Random, etc), but this didn't make any difference. Hopefully Emby can replicate this themselves and fix it in a forthcoming update?
