thijsemby 7 Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Hi there, My TV guide works fine on all devices, except on my LG TV. This used to work great, however recently it stopped working (possibly since the app update?). Everything else under live TV on the LG app works well, i.e. programmes, channels, recordings, scheduled etc. It's just the grid that is empty. See attached image. Thanks a lot for your advice.
Luke 40137 Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Hi, this should be resolved in the next update to the Emby LG app. Thanks.
thijsemby 7 Posted October 20, 2024 Author Posted October 20, 2024 @Lukethat's great thanks. Can you (roughly) say when that will be released?

thijsemby 7 Posted November 30, 2024 Author Posted November 30, 2024 @LukeI recently upgraded but the grid is still empty?
Luke 40137 Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 HI, that's odd. What version of the Emby app do you have now?
thijsemby 7 Posted December 1, 2024 Author Posted December 1, 2024 @luke I'm on version 1.0.45, which was updated on 19/11/2024
Luke 40137 Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 OK. Does it still look exactly the same as the image you posted?
Luke 40137 Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 Strange because @SamESdid find an issue that I thought we got fixed for 1.0.45.

thijsemby 7 Posted December 17, 2024 Author Posted December 17, 2024 Could it be because I'm on Server Beta 4.9.0.30?

thijsemby 7 Posted December 17, 2024 Author Posted December 17, 2024 Yes the guide is fine everywhere else. my TV is a LG GX 65 inch 4K Smart OLED TV from 2020, running the latest version of the Emby app. I also did a clean install earlier, no difference.
Luke 40137 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 OK we'll try to chase this down. Thanks.
nitrup93 17 Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 For solve this temporary issue, you check the Channel number on the option
thijsemby 7 Posted December 19, 2024 Author Posted December 19, 2024 Where would I do this? To clarify, on the grid page I just blank black rows, with a white selector bar. At the top, it shows what is on that channel, but the grid itself is empty. I don't see any option or settings that I can change? Including in the app settings.
SamES 1004 Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 I can't reproduce this. Can you please show me the settings from the guide tab when you login on the web client with the same user account?
thijsemby 7 Posted December 30, 2024 Author Posted December 30, 2024 @SamESby looking at the settings on the guide tab, the issue became clear: the channel display can only be the image or the title, it can't be both. Would be great if that can be fixed at some point, however for now it works fine so long as it's set to either image or title. Thanks a lot! 1
