visproduction 250 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Create, Is this font fz-xiao-biao-song-b05, just missing from either the server or end user? Apple TV has it available so the Chinese characters appear correctly. I use a subtitle editor on Windows 10 workstation and the font appears to work fine. In my File Editor the encoding shows up as UTF-8 + BOM and also looks fine. Related link regarding this font: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=FZXiaoBiaoSong-B05+Windows+font+fails+error&ia=web So why do some characters disappear to blank squares? Here is what the subtitle editor shows about the .ass file. Hope this helps...

SamES 993 Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 I think this is the bug that was introduced by tvOS 18 and is fixed in the next update. 1
