DarkStar1977 92 Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 (edited) Hi Emby Team Since updated to the last version, when you're playing anything and you quit playing (by pressing back button on apple remote as done always), the audio of the video keeps playing until you try to play another thing (or the same thing again) or you kill the emby app from running on Apple TV. Curiously if you try to play the same video the interface loop back to the previous screen. The video below shows this issue: IMG_1897.mp4 Can u please fix it asap ¿? SamES 996 Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 I think this is an issue with tvOS 18. Try restarting the Apple TV, you may even have to restart it twice then see if that's better. It has resolved a few strange issues for a few people, including me. 1

I reboote the Apple TV device 5 times and the problem persists. 1

Zander3768 42 Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 I found a temp workaround that SEEMS to work. If I stop something and it continues to play sound in the background, clicking play again actually stops it from playing in the background. Same with Live TV. When backing out of a live tv stream, it continues to play in the background almost EVERY time when a user backs out of the live stream. When you click Play again, it actually stops the stream. I know its not a proper solution & annoying but that's what I've been doing now for the past few weeks to at least stop something from playing when i want it to stop....

The solution now is to use the beta version 1.9.0(2) to exit the automatic closing of video sound.
