[Emby Server] Disable "Minimum automatic collection size" option

How can I disable the "Minimum automatic collection size" option or set this option to "0"?

Thats strange, you are missing a option in that screenshot.

This screenshot is from server version 4.8.8.0

 

What server version are you on ?

Because TMDB is disable as the info comes from them.

The server version is 4.8.8.0.

In the library settings, the advanced settings toggle is already enabled, but this option is not displayed because I haven't selected any metadata downloader. I'm using local data.

Yes, I want to prevent the collection library from automatically creating collections.

If your metadata does not have the <set> node then they will not be created otherwise you want to increase the number not decrease it.

Then you don't want zero - you want 99... try setting it to that.

Unfortunately, it is hardcoded 1 thru 4.  But pretty sure this has come up before.

On average 4 would work the majority of the time but dev may need to look a higher value for users that don't want them at all.

Testing now but may be able to go higher via updating library via the api instead of the UI. 

But in the end does your metadata have the required fields to create a collection?

Doesn't look like a value of 99 withstands as server restart as it reset to 2 after changing directly in api.

So dev will need a higher value option for this request as zero/one would just create collections for everything that has a <set> node.

I checked the NFO file, and there is no <set> field inside.

I've set the value to 4, so let me see if it works.

Yes if your metadata does not contain the <set> info then you should be fine.
