Music genres

Hi,

I've been going through my flac collection and cleaning up the incorrect metadata directly in the files. I ended up adding missing genres to a lot of the files. After doing this I then copied all my music across to my server and rescanned the library, but none of the newly added genres are shown. I also noticed that in cases where I had changed the genre, the old genre is still displayed for those albums and the new one is ignored. I have the genre display limit set to five, so it shouldn't have any problems displaying multiple genres for each album.

Any idea where I might be going wrong? Is there a simple way to get Emby to refresh the genres from the tags embedded in the flac files?

Looks like I need to do a refresh of the metadata from folder view and choose the specific folder I want to update. Previously I was doing a rescan/refresh of the metadata from the artist/album artist view, but that doesn't seem to work correctly.
