Hello everyone,

Despit of all my researches on the forum, I'didn't get the solution to fix my problem.

Currently, I run Emby (4.8.8.0) on a Synolgy NAS DS918+ (DSM 7.1.1-42962), directly with the syno Package Emby. Emby server works fine, I can launch any movies or tv show, but after setting up the trailer plugin (with Emby Premier), when I launch any media, the "trailers" not working and I get the following message "No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later, or contact your system administrator for details."

I've atteched the serve logs. According to it I've a nentworking problem to acces to trailer website, you can see above :

22:25:53.030 https://cl2.buscafs.com/www.metatube.com/public/uploads/videos/456932_mp4.mp4: Server returned 403 Forbidden (access denied)

Do you have any idea to solve it ?

Thanks

That is Despicable Me 4 but not seeing an issue here.

Needs to look at permissions on libraries as there are issue on /volume1/video/Series and /volume1/video/Films libraries items.

I try to launch randomly movies, and each time the "cinéma intro" not working, but the media itself working fine. So, for me it's not a permission acces problem on my main media folders films and series...

Maybe, a networking issue between the NAS and metatube ?

Are you using a VPN?

Yes I use one behind the BT port for downloading tasks only. It's probably a conflict with the firewall setting up for the dowloading tasks you think ? I will check how it's setup, to show you

Have you looked at the server log?  The Walking Dead S08E09-E13 and Un.Prophete.2009.

Access to the path '/volume1/video/Series/The Walking Dead/The Walking Dead S8/The.Walking.Dead.S08E10.VOSTFR.PROPER.720p.HDTV.x264' is denied.

Access to the path '/volume1/video/Films/Un.Prophete.2009.FRENCH.1080p.BluRay.x264-FHD' is denied.

But with only you getting a "Server returned 403 Forbidden" from that Trailer source it would suggest something specific to your network configuration.

See it all the time on Synology topics as user need to adjust permission per show or reset recursively on parent folder.

For the medias where there is an "Access Denied" I tried to reset the permissions, nothing change. What do you mean by recursively ? setup the path from movie folders directly like that "/volume1/video/Films/Un.Prophete.2009.FRENCH.1080p.BluRay.x264-FHD"  ? one by one ?

For my main troubleshooting, I stop the VPN to test, and finaly it's working, the trailers launch at the start of the movie  :) . The VPN is setup as default gateway, I will replace it by my "LAN1"

Thanks for your help

Regarding file permissions, have you taken a look at this?

Yes I did exactly that. According logs, only this two médias fails ... On about 800 films and 2000 TV show files. So I'm not sur that only a question of permission.

I confirme that switch the default getway to "LAN1" instead of VPN was the solution.
