Cladue 0 Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Windows 10 Emby Theater 1.1.573.0 installed from MS store. In the past, I could see and set the place where downloaded files would go, it was in the setting menu, but now, there is a Dowloads choice on the left menu bar but it only show me what I downloaded and not where exactly they are. Now, I have no choice where to place them. Thanks.
Luke 38947 Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Hi, have you checked the download settings in the app?
miracle152004 1 Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 The only settings available in the downloads settings of the app are the "music download quality" and if I only want to download using WLAN. Is there any way to change the download directory? I am on Emby for Windows 1.1.574.0 installed from the windows store. On a Windows 11 System. 1
maleb23 4 Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 I'm seeing the exact same thing. Going through and removing everything I can for Emby Theater to try and reinstall now, but yeah, seeing this as well. @softworkz

Rename C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\EmbyMedia.EmbyTheater_svmepx4c03f7m\LocalState to something else to keep a copy, then: mklink /J "C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\EmbyMedia.EmbyTheater_svmepx4c03f7m\LocalState" <my other place>\LocalState
