Getumzz 13 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 (edited) I know i have seen something about this before but i cant find. Is there a way to hide/remove the folders-tab? Feels pretty dumb to have a tab showing the same things as movies, tv and collection already does. I like to keep things clean and the folder-tab kind of bugs me Edit..... Found it Edited November 12, 2014 by MrDon
Solution shaefurr 1339 Posted November 12, 2014 Solution Posted November 12, 2014 In what, the web client, MBT? In the web client if you click your profile pic and go to "my preferences" there's an option for "Display a folders view to show plain media folders". 2
Getumzz 13 Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Yeah, i found a few min after i made the post. Missed the preferences menu. And unchecking the box also removed the folder-tab in MBT that i really wanted.
shorty1483 486 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Is the option to show/hide the folder Tab removed in one of the last Server versions? I activated it last week and didn't find it useful, now I cannot remove it because there is no checkmark in personal preferences. Perhaps a screenshot of someone who still has this checkmark so I can search again.

ebr 15338 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Since we have the ability now to show any media folder as an individual item at the top level, what is the use-case for still needing this complete folder view? 2
Luke 38498 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 None. With the advent of the setting to enable or disable the enhanced views on a per folder basis, this one is just excess. Since you want to disable it, you can do it from the user config xml file. 1
