Does Emby not work correctly on Echo Show 10?

My server has worked perfectly for a long time, is on 4.9.0.27. Emby for Fire TV and Apple IOS works perfectly along with remote access.

But on Echo Show 10, music is not recognized at all unless I say "play a few songs" for the sake of testing... which will randomly grab something from the library and play. At least that is working and confirms its fetching from my server.

When I ask it to play a movie, any title, video is outright unsupported???

Hi Luke. Alexa skill. It is not possible to run Android apps on Echo Show 5, 8 or 10.

Direct Video playback is currently not supported for Amazon echo. You can use Alexa to remote control other devices that do support Video playback by opening the Emby app on that device, then ask Alexa to "Change the default device". Say "Yes" when your chosen playback device is said.

 

For music try saying (more examples can be found in the wiki):

"Play the artist Texas"

"Play the song place in my world"

"Play the album Careful What You Wish For by Texas"

Hi Luke. The Echo Show 15 appears to be somewhat picky and must be spoken to "slowly" to recognize commands being send to Emby.

Video will not work as per earlier explanation by Hatharry but music appears to run fine.
