Noticeable difference in quality on Firefox / Chrome / MPC-HC

Greetings.

I've been using Emby for quite a few years, mainly on my Fire TV or on my Android devices. For that reason, I never quite used the versions available for Windows, nor have I watched any kind of shows on it. Now that I've gotten a new setup and monitor, I'm back to watching stuff on my computer, and I couldn't help but notice a big difference in quality among three options.

First and foremost, my main browser is Firefox, and, while trying to watch some anime (1080p HEVC file on my 4k display), there was noticeable JPEG compression on black scenes on it. I went back to check the same video using MPC-HC, and there was definitely less compression / the overall quality was better.

Then, I came to my second attempt: tried watching on Emby Web on Chrome, and, to my surprise, not only the JPEG compression was better - even better than using MPC-HC, the colours felt a lot more vivid. Honestly, I couldn't find any setting for that, not on the web app, not on Chrome, not on MPC-HC. Not anywhere. Does anyone experience this?

I've attached screenshots for the three platforms I've mentioned so that  you could see what I'm talking about in terms of colour vibrance / range (it honestly feels like HDR vs SDR, even though it's not HDR, because Windows screenshots it with no overexposure). The screenshots by itself can't say much about the JPEG compression, but you can definitely see the colour difference (to me, it feels a lot better on Emby Web / Chrome than in other options).

I've added two different MPC-HC renderers and VLC for the sake of comparison.

Questions:

1) Why is there a decrease in quality on Emby Web on Firefox?

2) Why is there a change in colour vibrance / accuracy and black levels only on Emby Web on Chrome? Why does it look even better than on MPC-HC (which should be the "original" quality of the video)?
