SikSlayer 237 Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 I LOVE the new UHD UI option, but I have to enable it every time, it doesn't save.

I need feedback regarding the performance on weak devices with the UHD mode on. If this turns out to be fine, then it will always (and only) be UHD.
arrbee99 1661 Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 If it isn't permanent then maybe a permanent indicator would help. At the moment the only way to check if its on or off is to switch it unless, unlikely I know, I missed something.

Sorry if this hasn't be clear enough: This state is meant to exist only for this single version (or maybe one more). Your task is to tell me if you see any performance issues when you compare the two modes switching back and forth. Thanks
arrbee99 1661 Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Hokey dokey. Not if I have anything weak to test things as you mentioned, but we'll see... 1
SikSlayer 237 Posted June 7, 2024 Author Posted June 7, 2024 From what I've seen on my Note 9, Huawei MediaPad M5, both 3–5 year old devices, this interface worked VERY well. 1

TMCsw 146 Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 I've tried the this on 2 Fire Tv 4k max's (sorry gave away my lesser devices to family/friends.): The results on the one connected to a 1080p TV no perceivable speed difference between (normal/enhanced(HD)) but clearer text of coarse.. Hate the steel.... want a high contrast dark version?

Maybe the balls will only be shown on the start page and the bottom plane will swap to the bottom (like at the start of the animation video). But in general, there will be mixes of grey-tones where contrast is not as high as in case of the MC Deep theme, which has good contrast always and everywhere, so I hope you like that one at least..
