Randomly cannot remote login from iphone and ipad

i randomly cannot remote login with emby connect .after sign in with emby connect ,most of the time it stuck with select sever page.(after login its show 2 same name server with internal ip address and sometimes show WAN ip but both of them said unable to reach sever ) and manual add ip also not work. for internal login sometime its show in activity log that its attempt to authenticated on server so many time and it show a long list of login attempt every second until it can login 

P.S. Android tv app still can remote login with no problem

Same here. Something seems to be up with the iOS apps since the latest update

Hi, can you try doing a manual connection by entering your server address?

yes. i get it from manage emby server “remote (WAN) access”the wan ip keep change overtime so i use emby connect instead.

Are you able to update to Emby Server 4.8? You're on a very old version.

Im having the same issue, cannot connect from my iPad Pro, on the latest Emby App and iOS versions...

Edit: When i connect to the IP:8096 in the ipad browser I simple get a 'Forbidden' message.

Edit 2: My mistake, my tailscale IP changed for my iPad, so I didnt have it in my Emby whitelist.

why Emby for iOS 2.2.23 . its now can login but it always require launch application for 2 time before it can login, first time its keep loading and make a long list of device "Has Authenticated on PC" on activity log ,and always successful access in second app reopen.

Hi, there’s nothing obvious here, but a couple things that could cause this are deleting devices from the server or any changing of user passwords. Those two things will invalidate current sessions and require them to login again.

cannot login happens again on ios2.22.23 its seem happened when router rotate server public ip .ipad show the old wan server ip and show cannot reach server(restart ios app and server not work)but its needs restart the ipad device after that its work.

its change about every 3-4day . i seem to know the cause of the problem why it cannot login with both emby connect and manual ip ,i found that when real ip of server has changed but wan ip which show in emby server dashboard still unchange for sometime (its require restart server a few time until its update the wan ip) after wan ip match real server ip , everything work fine.
