Feature Request: Streamline MB3 Connect New User Sign-up

Hi, would like to propose a request to see if it makes sense to streamline the process for on-boarding new users to the MB forums and linking them up with a Connect invite they had received.  This use case is specific to individuals who do not have a current Forum account, and may not even know what Mediabrowser is.  I ran through this about a week ago with a friend of mine, and here is the current process we experienced:

 

1) I sent the invite to his email address using the new Connect feature on the server to do so.

2) He received the email and signed up as a new user through the new user process.

3) He sent me his Forum user ID and I again sent him an invite via the server using his forum name.

4) He accepted the invite.

5) I received an email letting me know he accepted the invite and the process is complete.

 

Proposed process

 

1) I send the invite to the user's email address as normal.

2) User receives the email and sets up the new account and is given the option to accept my invite.

3) If invite is accepted, I receive an email and the process is complete.

Yes, it's a good idea. This is all brand new so there are certainly improvements that will continue to happen along the way.
