RobbieBott 5
I have an HD HomeRun tuner connected to Emby & Plex. Emby will only play at a max of 480 while Plex recognizes that the channels are in 1080 and will play and record them at that. Emby for some reason does not recognize that they are HD and shows they are SD. I have 6 stations in my area that are HD/1080 and 2 that are only 720. Emby sees them all as SD/480. See screen shots. Is there a way to make Emby recognize that those Channels are in fact HD? embyserver.txt ffmpeg-directstream-40aa4eda-dae8-4ff1-9ee6-f48c6ec61483_1.txt
reneboulard 32
The HDHomerun extend may be transcoding the stream, Check your set up on the HDhomerun Transcode Configuration Set it to none. On Emby LiveTV setup uncheck : Allow hardware transcoding (So emby will not tell your HDHomerun Extend to transcode) Edited May 1 by reneboulard Add Emby setup for Extend

reneboulard 32
If you want to test further you can check with VLC to see what your hdhomerun is giving you. Just enter http://youtunerip/lineup.m3u in VLC or http://192.168.1.18/lineup.m3u in your case. VLC is available in multiple platform. You will be able to tune each channel and see in what format you receive them. I am using multiple HDhomerun extend and I get full HD on all channels that broadcast in HD. hope this help. Luke 37220
@RobbieBottis this the only tuner you've added in Emby Live TV Setup, or are there others? Your screenshot suggests you have "allow hardware transcoding" unchecked in live tv setup, but your log suggests otherwise.
