Gamebrowser and sorting Roms

For those of you running Mame, how do you sort your roms?  There are like 3k of them and I want maybe 50 games lol.  Is there a quick and easy way to weed out all the ones I don't want?

I don't sort them, I just keep the ones I want and delete the rest, why have thousands of games you'll never play. For MAME games anyway.

 

For SNES/NES etc I use subfolders. For example my SNES games folder has maybe 30 games or so which are my favorites, it also has a folder named !All Games, with the rest of the games in it. So when browsing in MBT the first folder is always the !All Games, followed by my favorite ones, that way I still have all of the SNES games, but I dont have to browse through them all the time. Also, I use the ! in the folder name so it will always be first, even with games with names like 7th Saga
