New arabic subtitles fonts

When will there be new fonts available instead of the current Arabic one for IOS, there’s a lot of bug with the current one like there’s a line after each letter, 

if its possible to use the built in sub font for iphones like the one in netflix, amazon, etc, that would be great thanks

Sure here, ive put some dots below each one so you can understand what i meant, it may be little but when you begin to notice it starts to get annoying

By the way this is the font that we're using:

My issue is not with the way the font looks my issue is with those lines that appear after some Arabic letters which is why i suggested new fonts to use, hence why i prefered the one netflix uses or the one apple uses on their iphones which got zero bugs and i believe its called “SF Arabic” im confident you guys can find a way to implement it on Emby

Or if its possible to not burn subtitles and make it like open for us to use whatever is on the iPhones settings, in other words dont make it use a specific font if you understand what i mean

Any updates regarding fonts ? Ive noticed the new update changing the UI making it cleaner and more appealing but still no changes in font nor vertical position

I am on the latest beta regarding the emby server and test it on iOS iphone 15 pro max with latest ver, and look very good:

The font i preferred to was the subtitles that goes with the name (SRT) these are the ones that got those lines after each arabic letter, ive been using other applications to view my media from emby that allows different fonts but navigating and traversing through these apps isnt as fast and smooth as Emby hence why I requested implementing other font on here

Same thing here, srt files look good as well.

 

The problem you facing from the subtitle encoding, best to use UTF-8 or convert the one you have to that, or simply download another subtitle from online sites.

Nope, no issue at all.

I need to add something here, many like the extra characters within the words in Arabic subtitles, some do not, but in all, it's acceptable to all, as it make the words more clear.

Is it a problem? The answer is no.

Is it better to add more fonts support? The answer again is yes, but that up to Luke to see if that need it or not.

It's not a language issue, it's a graphical display issue. To try and make it clearer, the red boxes show enlargements focusing in on the issue, the blue box shows what it should look like:

Yes even those screenshots that @Abobader sends still got that lines after each letter. so i requested a new a feature to add new styles on fonts ive seen many other media players has got this feature so I thought i adding it would be no big problem, Its not a HUGE issue but its starts to get annoying if you notice it.

عموما انا ما كنت فاهم المشكلة بالاول ولكن الان اتفق معاك ان يجب تغير الخط او اضافة خط اخر وان شاء الله حبيبنا لوك ما راح يقصر بالموضوع

 

@Luke Seem the font with dot bother some personals, as @crusher11 explain the issue, as with my posts, I speak about my personal view that not a problem, but other as the OP see it as a must to change the font, thanks.
