gejianya 4 Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 When the .actor folder and the nfo file are not in the same folder, for example, the nfo and video files are in the C drive, and the .actor folder is in the D drive, how to let emby read the actor pictures in the .actor folder? Because I have thousands of movies and hundreds of actors, I really don’t want to move the actor pictures to the nfo .actor folder one by one. Is there any other way to let emby read the actor pictures?

That is not feasible, .actors folder should be placed in media (Movie/TV show) folder, together with video (and optionally other type) files. Quote actor Used in: Movie artwork TV-Show artwork The Actor artwork is a portrait of an actor for display in the cast information pages. The files are named as <FirstName>_<LastName>.jpg and are saved in the dedicated .actors folder in the movie folder and tv show folder.
