danlun 2 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Hi, I run latest AppleTV and latest Emmy app on that, against an Emmy server on my Synology NAS. No problems to see movies or TV series. Movies works great with subtitles but not TV series. I have made sure the subtitle has the same name as the tv series episode. They are in the same directory. One directory per episode. I don't get the subtitle menu on the page of the episode, before I start the episode. I don't have Premium, is that necessary?
Luke 38535 Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
danlun 2 Posted April 9 Author Posted April 9 Hi Luke, this problem has been solved by itself. I don't know but looking now it's all okay. I don't know if I done some refresh or what but now subtitles works as expected. I have replied in another thread though about the lack of subtitles synchronisation on AppleTV which make us not able to use Emmy on AppleTV as our solution currently anyhow. That was my hope, trying to leave Plex which has become to much all over the place nowadays. Emby is much better fit for purpose, a really great product with its web interface too. So pelare let us have subtitle sync on AppleTV too. Great work!! 1
