Nom1fan 2 Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Hi, I am running v1.7.5 on my Tizen TV, and sometimes while watching with Hebrew subtitles, everything works fine until randomly the subtitles turn into gibberish. I have to exit the app and relaunch which sometimes helps, other times I had to restart the server. Attaching some logs from yesterday when this happened several times while watching "The Matchmaker (2010)". Thanks in advance! ffmpeg-transcode-73c6ac77-2bdd-4fa3-983b-356e42392cb0_1.txt embyserver-63845539200.txt

urymf 1 Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Thanks for the pointer to the instructions. I will do my best: I have a Samsung TV, model UE65MU7003, software version T-KTMDEUC-1400.3, emby version: Emby for Samsung 1.2.6 The subtitle language I use is Hebrew, and when I play a new movie or episode, is works fine. After a few minutes (can't tell how many or if it's always at the same time) or as soon as I use skip/ffwd, the subtitles turn to gibberish, as the attached picture show. The subtitles are displayed without any problem or change on my PC using VLC, so the files are intact (SRT format). Thanks in advance!

Please attach the server log from the time frame the activity occurred. See the section below titled Emby Server Logs. Please supply the full and complete log file in txt format. Please don't zip or compress, and avoid attempting to extract relevant sections. Everything is relevant to us. If a server transcoding log (ffmpeg log) was also generated during playback (in the server logs folder), please attach that as well.
urymf 1 Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Please find the logs attached. It may not resolve it. Last we looked at this it is isolated to very specific models from one or two years.
urymf 1 Posted April 1 Posted April 1 I can try. can you please provide a link to the newer version's binaries?

urymf 1 Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Installed Emby for Samsung 2.0.2. Unfortunately, the issue persists exactly as in the previous app version. Any ideas?
Luke 39868 Posted April 1 Posted April 1 OK, thanks for testing. IT is on the to do list to look at this.
