DSD/DSF direct playback on Marantz Cinema 40

Hi,

 

I'm trying to play DSF files to the AVR Marantz Cinema 40 (they are supported natively by the AVR) via DLNA, but Emby transcodes them to MP3.

From what I understand from the log files, the AVR does not tell Emby that it supports DSF playback, however it does and I'm able to play DSF files using Marantz HEOS app.

Is there any way to avoid the transcoding?

Could the problem be solved using DLNA Profile?

@dimi81please try the 1.3.8 update to the Dlna plugin that went out tonight and let us know if this helps. Thanks.
