p3lim 0 Posted February 3 Share Posted February 3 Hi, I recently bought a Chromecast 4K and installed Emby for Android TV on it. When I start the app it prompts me with a "Sign in with Connect" screen, which shows a 5-digit pin and prompts me to go to https://emby.media/pin. This does not work at all, I created an account just for it, added the pin and it just says "Pin Confirmed. Thank you" on the website and nothing happens on my the Chromecast. Then I tried the "Skip and enter IP address" option in the app. I entered the IP and port of my Emby server running on a Synology NAS and clicked OK, and... nothing happened. I even did a tcpdump capture on my router to see if there was any traffic coming out of the Chromecast, nothing at all towards my LAN subnets. Is this just completely broken? I even paid for Emby, and expected something as simple as connecting to the server to work out of the box. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
