Local Emby server hangs on sign-in screen

Running recently-updated Sonoma 14.2.1. Localhost server hangs when admin account is selected to log in using Safari 17.2.1 (spinning blue circle of death). I've reinstalled a few times, including deleting Emby's .config folder. Suggestions?

Ok try just localhost:8096

 If that’s still an issue then see if clearing browsing data helps

Same problem . I'll try using chrome or something else. EDIT: nope, just installed fresh chrome and it still doesn't work

Tried it, worked. Then I went back to my internal emby server, which now works. Weird. Oh well. Thanks for the help, whatever you did seemed to un-stick it.
