Emby Server for Docker Added "Save metadata and images as hidden files

Until version 4.7.14.0 Emby Server for Docker
There is no Save metadata and images as hidden files" (Dashboard-Library-Advanced) option yet

I saw that the windows version already has this function. When will the docker version also implement it? I often need to use my computer to edit the metadata of the server.

Hi, yes this is currently only available for Windows. We can look at adding it to more platforms in future updates. Thanks.

Different operating systems use different mechanisms to make files / folders hidden. For *nix systems, this means the filenames begin with a period; Windows has an attribute. This would possibly mean different file names on different operating systems, and more work for the developers.

Yes I know, I don't need the hiding method of *nix systems, I only need the windows attribute, which does not affect the file naming
