I did. The latest build was 27.12. Version 3.3.56. 

It still doesnt work

I have uninstalled the beta version - 3.3.56 and sideloaded the arm64 apk.

When I check the app version it still shows as the current beta build, is this correct?
Upon opening Emby it asked me to sign in, I'm assuming a successful uninstall/sideload.

The black screen is still present.

I've also updated my phone to the latest security patch: December 1, 2023.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help resolve this issue.

I checked the Emby version via the Play Store and it says 3.3.56 and opens the app.
When I check the version in the Apps area of the phone and the App Settings area of Emby, it shows as 3.3.60, so this should be the intended sideload release.

I have attached the log file as .txt

And to add some context.

1st test - DeX over cable to my computer, it worked.
2nd test - external display (Xreal Air 2 Pro) and it produced a black screen.

I have same problem. "Last year" i used to watch some movies on emby, using Samsung Dex with dhmi adapter on computer display.
Seems update of Adroid causing this error.

All is newest version (emby from market) and android newest update from samsung.

Black screen, just sound playing. Using emby in browser, there is video and audio.

No. Not working. Still black screen.

Other things like Youtube app are working. And emby did work before the last Samsung update. (Happened between christmas and first weeks of january)

Also not working on mobile when the external screen is connected. Need to disconnect external screen and restart emby on mobile. Then there is video again.

Def not a Samsung issue. There are now several threads in android beta forum. Tested on Amazon Fire, Nvidia Shield and Walmart onn. All behaving the same as your issue.

Maybe you'll have better luck. The other threads have been ignored for some time now.

I'm on another thread, but don't blame them for 'ignoring the rest'. Seems like a major issue is worth them tackling one at the time/consolidating them so it's easier to work.

That being said, I'm on 3.3.62 and the issues still persist..not sure if the other guy ever got that installed.

With my issue I also can't get logs exported so understandably I'm of no help to them :(
