nouboh 4 Posted October 31, 2023 Share Posted October 31, 2023 If you have different libraries for UHD (4K) and HD (<=1080p) content, being able to disable transcoding for a library makes it easier to avoid transcoding 4K content in case the hardware doesn't support it. In my case, this would allow me to share the 4K library with my friends without risk of overloading my server.
