Not sure if "widget" is the correct term.

But on the Admin Dashboard, when someone is playing, it tells me its transcoding, and "why".  However, it would be great if it could also tell us the status of the transcoding.

Is it using hardware/software? The "Processing Plan" section of the ffmpeg log?

During outside of emby ffmpeg, you often get "Speed", as in 14x or 0.7x, meaning how much faster its transcoding vs "stream time".

As a separate widget would be fine, but even just putting the information into the "Now Playing" widget would be great.

TIA

But not the position/buffer size of the transcoding. If its running at 17x vs 0.7x it would be great to know it here.

But the bars above do show buffer ie blue vs red but yes the user session does give a big picture to read.  And 33 fps will indicate speed, correct.

I have to be honest, I never noticed the blue/red bar before.  :)

Just having 2 more lines as part of the stream section would have cleared that up..

Thanks but the red/green (my chrome shows it as green),does help.

If figured it was a "theme" issue, no worries, I was able to figure that part out :)  Im still amazed, that I have been using emby for almost 2 years, and still learn about little things like this.  Such a great product!
