Media Library Scan

The scanning of media library takes a lot of CPU.

My system runs at near 100% when doing it.

Is there a way to do it "less aggressive" to reduce the CPU usage?

I would also like to see a schedule option to be able to set it scan at a certain time only.

I have turned off real time monitoring.

My setup is Intel Core Duo CPU E8500 3.16GHz, 8GB RAM.

Windows home server 2012.

All files resides on a NAS with gigabit connection.

Click on the item "Scan Media Library"

Then you see the following.

You can change the interval......

I would still like an option to set a specific time, like at 4 in the morning when noone is watching any movies

To accomplish that, @@Betelgeuse, you can use the Daily trigger type and set the time as 04:00 AM.
