Betelgeuse 14 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 The scanning of media library takes a lot of CPU. My system runs at near 100% when doing it. Is there a way to do it "less aggressive" to reduce the CPU usage? I would also like to see a schedule option to be able to set it scan at a certain time only. I have turned off real time monitoring. My setup is Intel Core Duo CPU E8500 3.16GHz, 8GB RAM. Windows home server 2012. All files resides on a NAS with gigabit connection.
Solution Sven 136 Posted October 19, 2014 Solution Posted October 19, 2014 Click on the item "Scan Media Library" Then you see the following. You can change the interval...... 2
Betelgeuse 14 Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 I would still like an option to set a specific time, like at 4 in the morning when noone is watching any movies
Angelblue05 4131 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 To accomplish that, @@Betelgeuse, you can use the Daily trigger type and set the time as 04:00 AM. 1
Betelgeuse 14 Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 So simple! Thanks - consider this solved!
