tvOS app dashboard not loading

Has anyone experienced an issue with the dashboard not loading when using the Emby app on tvOS? Currently using an Apple TV 4k (A1842) and the login works correctly (server logs the successful authentication), but the dashboard just constantly loads.

Have confirmed that all other clients on the network (macOS app, browser - Safari and Firefox on multiple devices, Linux desktop app, iOS) work correctly. This is using both the manual entry mode and Emby Connect. Have also deleted the app off of the device and reinstalled. Have been able to replicate the issue on another Apple TV 4k (1 generation newer) on the same network.

From my perspective, this is an Apple TV or app issue (or some combination thereof). Is this a known issue or no? Any ideas on how to fix it?

hi2hello

Had some similar problems. Started with the emby dashbaord (top shelf) but than expanded to other apps. Sounds nuts but restarted the ATV and it worked again.

OK so what exactly are you referring to by tvOS dashboard? Do you mean the home screen of the Emby Apple TV app?

Correct. The Home Screen, search, and favorites all fail to load.

Thanks. I have restarted the device and performed a hard reset by unplugging it. Have also uninstalled the app.

@Lukethank you. I opened the app last night and the issue appeared to have resolved itself. I ran an integrity check on the database as outlined in the article you linked with no errors returned. Going to mark your answer as the solution because there was definitely an issue with the database at some point.
