What are the advantages of using the native player over MPV or vice versa? If I really dont care about transcoding (my machine can handle it and I am the only user) should I stick with one over the other? My biggest concern is that the audio goes over to my receiver correctly (5.1) and if I have something HDR that it makes my TV switch to that. Thanks and Merry Christmas all! Instead, it supports refresh rate and dynamic range matching. The MPV player supports more formats but does not support refresh rate and dynamic range matching.
