joncy92 6 Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 When I replace a movie with a new version, perhaps an extended cut or in a higher quality, I can either rename the current nfo and Emby will treat the movie as existing or I can delete the nfo, scrape again and it will show in the new movies list. Sometimes I upgrade a bulk of movies in one go so the latest movies list gets cluttered on the homepage. It would be good if there was a widget which displays "recently upgraded movies" so that they're differentiated clearly Thanks
Luke 39400 Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Hi, it's not a bad idea, although the server does not keep track of a history of changes to a file. It only knows what it currently looks like.
joncy92 6 Posted December 1, 2022 Author Posted December 1, 2022 Yes I have been thinking about that. I thought perhaps if it could see that the modified or perhaps created file date on the filesystem was sometime after the added date in metadata it could use that. Then perhaps later in the future it can be made more accurate by tracking some history in the database or something 1
joncy92 6 Posted December 15, 2022 Author Posted December 15, 2022 Any further thoughts on this @Luke?
Luke 39400 Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 I don't have anything at this time because we don't keep track of that information in the database.
