fivedays 1
Hi there, I just update the Emby win to the latest version as V4.7.8.0 and I found that the moives with different parts will no longer show the Poster. When I get into the detail of the movie, all metadata is there except the poster, and the Part 2 is actually showing the Poster. Not sure what cause it. Would you please kindly take a look? Thanks. Best, Nathan.
Luke 37060
hi there, that's strange. If you refresh the metadata on the movie, does that resolve it? @Happy2Play are you able to reproduce?

Happy2Play 8281
@fivedays Can you show us screenshots of a specific example. @LukeAs it looks correct to me. This test was metadata/images not with media. 4.7.8.0 Edited October 3, 2022 by Happy2Play

fivedays 1
It seems like when the scrapper can find the movie, it worked fine. But when it comes to a movie that is not from a scrapper, it has some issue. I just checked the folder where the moive sits. Emby actually delete the poster.jpg and fanart.jpg when I refreshed the metadata. I disabled the scapper in this library and check the save the image in the movie folder. And the Movie with only one part is working fine. Happy2Play 8281
@Lukeadding the test file above to a library with images disabled only applies poster to part 2. But Refresh w/replace images is doing exactly what it was designed to do, delete images and look for new even if they do not exist.
MrAudio 5
I'm having the same problem. Everything was fine (and has been for years) with V4.7.6.0, but when I upgraded to V4.7.8.0, I had a number of titles that are split into multi parts suddenly ignoring my posters (folder.jpg located inside the movie folder) and replacing that with a screenshot from the first part. \\server\movies\The Right Stuff (1983)\The Right Stuff (1983) - Disc 1.mp4 \\server\movies\The Right Stuff (1983)\The Right Stuff (1983) - Disc 1-poster.jpg <-- new, screenshot \\server\movies\The Right Stuff (1983)\The Right Stuff (1983) - Disc 2.mp4 \\server\movies\The Right Stuff (1983)\folder.jpg <-- now being completely ignored, even if the new "poster" file is deleted. And, ironically, if I refresh the media after deleting the "poster" file (the new screenshot), I still get no poster for the main title, but the screenshots for the additional parts are now replaced with the folder.jpg image. Single-part movies continue to recognize folder.jpg as they always have - it's just the multi-part files and it's definitely new to v4.7.8.0. I'm running the QNAP x64 version if it matters, but I suspect it doesn't. Edited October 24, 2022 by MrAudio

There has been two stable verision updates for Emby and I still can find this issue happening. Thanks for all the hard work! Best, Nathan.
