Is it possible to properly play Dolby Vision in Emby Theater on Windows, and how to do it?
Unfortunately, the colors are displayed incorrectly for me.

@Luke would need to answer if Theater has been updated with what is required. But it is possible.

Have you tried the 3.0.16 update?

@bad_vista are you still having an issue with this?

If so, can you try the latest testing build and let us know how that compares?

It has an updated mpv. Thanks !

Unfortunately, the desktop-version still cannot do this. The store-version (app) does this quite well. But I like the desktop-version😔

Of course I have the latest installed everywhere.

You need to set the video output option to gpu-next. That is the only way Dolby Vision is supported.

Will it still use mpv or something else ?

Unfortunately that doesn't help. With this setting the video doesn't start at all.

Something wrong there. Considering it's tonemapped and that's not happening, you've got something bigger happening.  Have you tried replacing the mpv library?
